This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) outlines the acceptable and prohibited uses of the services provided by IOK Servers ("we," "us," or "our"). This AUP is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service. By using our services, you agree to comply with this policy. We reserve the right to modify this AUP at any time.

1. Prohibited Uses

You may not use our services to engage in, facilitate, or promote any illegal, abusive, or irresponsible behavior. This includes, but is not limited to, the following activities:

1.1. Illegal Activities

• Child Exploitation: Hosting, distributing, or linking to content that is sexually abusive to minors, or otherwise exploits or endangers children.
• Copyright Infringement: Using our services to store, distribute, or transmit copyrighted material without the express permission of the copyright holder. This includes music, movies, software, and other intellectual property.
• Fraud and Deception: Engaging in any fraudulent activity, including phishing, pharming, or other deceptive practices designed to trick users into revealing personal information or credentials.
• Malicious Software: Distributing, hosting, or linking to malware, viruses, trojan horses, or any other harmful code.

1.2. Network and Security Abuse

• Unauthorized Access: Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any system, network, or data, or using our services to perform a similar action against others.
• Denial-of-Service (DoS) Attacks: Launching or participating in a DoS or DDoS attack against any server, network, or service.
• Resource Abuse: Deliberately or recklessly consuming an excessive amount of network, CPU, or disk resources in a way that negatively impacts other users or the integrity of our infrastructure. This includes, but is not limited to, cryptocurrency mining, running public proxies, or using the VPS for video encoding or streaming.
• Scanning and Probing: Port scanning, vulnerability scanning, or any other form of network probing without the explicit permission of the target.
• Open Proxies/Relays: Operating a server that acts as an open proxy, anonymous VPN, or mail relay that can be used to mask illegal activities.

1.3. Email and Communication Abuse

• Spamming: Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam). This includes both marketing messages and any other form of mass communication sent without the recipient's consent.
• Harassment: Using our services to harass, stalk, or threaten any individual or group.

1.4. Inappropriate Content

• Hate Speech: Promoting or facilitating hate speech, violence, or discrimination against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
• Obscene Content: Hosting or distributing obscene, defamatory, or libelous content that is not protected by law.

2. Your Responsibilities

• Security: You are responsible for the security of your VPS. This includes, but is not limited to, keeping your software patched, using strong passwords, and configuring your firewall. We are not responsible for any security breaches that occur on your VPS.
• Reporting Abuse: If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, you must immediately report it to us at support@iokservers.com.
• Cooperation: You agree to cooperate with any investigation we conduct regarding a violation of this AUP.

3. Consequences of Violation

If we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated this AUP, we may take immediate action, including:

• Issuing a warning.
• Suspending your service with or without notice.
• Terminating your service and deleting your data without a refund.
• Reporting the activity to law enforcement if it involves illegal content or actions.

We may, at our discretion, remove any content or suspend any service that we believe is in violation of this AUP without liability.

4. No Waiver

Our failure to enforce this AUP in every instance does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it in the future.
